Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
∎ The incumbent will work closely with the Food Security Sector Coordinator, the National Information Management Officer and will work impartially with all members of the Food Security Sector in Cox's Bazaar, serving and representing the group as a whole, not an agency.
∎ The main duties of will be:
∎ Coordination with sector leads and key humanitarian actors to identify common grounds for collaboration, avoiding gaps and duplication in Rohingya Refugee response ensuring equal access to the humanitarian services.
∎ Coordination with national/local authorities, state institutions, local civil society and other actors in relation to food security and livelihood issues.
∎ Capacity building of FSS members (UN agencies, national and international NGO) partners on priority matters related to the food security response as well as gender, protection, social cohesion, and other cross cutting issues.
∎ Close monitoring of the FSS workplan and ensuring timely and efficient implementation.
∎ Participating and supporting food security and interagency needs assessment and analysis.
∎ Coordination of sector-wide emergency preparedness, ensuring application of appropriate standards and guidelines, ensuring monitoring and reporting for FSS and livelihoods related activities.
∎ Holding bi-weekly coordination meeting and Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) meeting as an alternate to the FSS coordinator.
∎ Engagement and establishment of an appropriate coordination mechanism between all FSS partners involved in livelihoods and skill development activities.
∎ Capacity building of FSS partners (UN agencies, national and international NGOs) on priority matters related to livelihoods and skill development.
∎ Leading and coordination of monthly trainings, joint field visits and lesson learnt workshops in collaboration with the FSS partners, sectors and the government as required.
∎ Leveraging innovative thinking, and case studies from other countries to inform food security and livelihood policy and strategies.
∎ Performing any other duty related to gFSC and FSS as required in support to the FSS coordinator.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 9 years of experience with 4 years in the professional /managerial field. 4 years of experience in humanitarian agency is required. Experience in Food Security Sector or relevant areas will be an asset.

Salary: Tk. 314152 (Monthly)
