We are looking for a highly ambitious, self-motivated, and hardworking Business Development Officer with strong communication skills in English and sound technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting our software and IT services and expanding our business operations.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-person client visits, client acquisition, and relationship management (experience in government sales will be preferred; bank/corporate experience will be an advantage).
Generate sales for software solutions, including customized software, application development, ERP solutions, and IT-enabled services.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and referrals.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media marketing.
Manage the full lifecycle of government tenders (EOI, RFP, quotation submission, and clarifications).
Handle government tenders through e-GP and ensure compliance with PPR regulations.
Identify and track new tender opportunities from platforms such as All Tender, Tender Bazar, Tender BD, etc.
Coordinate with technical teams to understand IT solutions and prepare proposals.
Prepare monthly tender reports (won, lost, shortlisted, canceled, etc.).
Prepare daily work plans and report progress to management.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
