∎ 5+ years of experience in C# software development with a proven track record in leading development teams.
∎ Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
∎ Proficiency in C# programming, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API development.
∎ Experience working with SQL and PL/SQL for database queries and stored procedures.
∎ Hands-on experience with database backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
∎ Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Summary:
∎ We are seeking an experienced Oracle 19c Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle 19c databases across development, testing, and production environments. This unique role will require the candidate to manage Oracle 19c databases while contributing to the design and development of cross-platform applications using C# and related frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong database management skills and be able to work closely with development teams to integrate databases into cross-platform software solutions.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Oracle 19c Database Administration:Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle 19c databases in production, test, and development environments.
∎ Monitor database performance, implement performance tuning, and optimize queries to ensure high availability and efficiency.
∎ Manage database backup, restore, recovery, and cloning processes using RMAN and other Oracle utilities.
∎ Implement and manage database security (roles, users, permissions, encryption).
∎ Perform regular maintenance activities such as patching, indexing, and table management.
∎ Conduct capacity planning and database health monitoring.Create and maintain documentation of database configurations, policies, and procedures.
∎ Assist developers with complex SQL queries and database designs.
∎ Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions..
∎ C# Developer Lead:
∎ Lead the design, development, and implementation of C# applications and backend services.
∎ Define software architecture and guide the development of scalable, efficient, and maintainable code.
∎ Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and other teams to define project requirements and timelines.
∎ Ensure best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and version control.
∎ Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, WCF and other web services to support applications.
∎ Coordinate deployments, monitor post-deployment performance, and address any production issues.
∎ Document technical designs, release notes, and best practices for ongoing team reference.
