Additional Requirements:

Proven experience as a Database Developer with in-depth knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL.·
Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.·
Strong ETL development skills using tools like SSIS or other relevant platforms.·
Proficiency in database maintenance tasks and performance tuning.·
Hands-on experience with SQL Server clustering, replication, and High Availability Groups.·
Familiarity with best practices in database security and disaster recovery.·
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.·
Effective communication and collaboration skills.Relevant certifications (e.g.,Digital Ocean, AWS, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) would be a plus.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a talented database engineer to support the building of new databases. The ideal candidate will have experience in production operation support, database development, database administration, knowledge of general database concepts, and basic Linux server administration. Experience with database administration task automation is a big plus.·
Design, develop, and implement database solutions for both SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.·
Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.·
Ensure data integrity, performance, and security in database designs.·
Develop and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for data analysis and reporting.·
Design and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources into the databases.·
Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and index rebuilding.·
Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.·
Configure and manage SQL Server clustering for high availability and failover support.·
Implement and maintain SQL Server replication to ensure data consistency across multiple servers.·
Design, implement, and manage High Availability Groups for SQL Server databases.·
Ensure the availability and reliability of database systems through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
