Educational Requirements:
∎ Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) degree at the minimum.

Job Context:
∎ HI has been working in Bangladesh since 1997, focusing on creating sustainable changes to ensure the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities in society. HI is an independent and impartial aid organization working in poverty, exclusion, conflict, and disaster situations throughout Bangladesh. With projects in different districts of the country, HI works not only with people with disabilities and other vulnerable populations, but also with their families, their communities, and local humanitarian actors to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions, promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights, and provide sustainability in its action. As one of the key organizations in the disability sector, HI has a wide range of projects that assist in promoting the inclusion of persons with disabilities and their issues in emergency and development contexts, building capacities of local stakeholders, and reducing the impact of natural and human-made disasters. Particularly in Cox`s Bazar district, HI is providing services in rehabilitation, MH/PSS, SRH, protection, and inclusive education with an inclusion mainstreaming approach to refugees and host populations affected by the forcibly displaced undocumented Myanmar nationals. HI`s multi-sectoral mobile units (MU) and static approach are currently working in 15 camps in Teknaf and Ukhiya Upazilas and surrounding host areas, providing comprehensive physical rehabilitation, primary health care, protection, and MHPSS services.
∎ HI is implementing a development and humanitarian response project in Kurigram, and Cox`s Bazar district through 4 project offices (Kurigram, Ukhiya, and Teknaf) and 2 coordination offices (Dhaka and Cox Bazar).
∎ Operational Thematic: Livelihood, Health and Rehabilitation, Protection, Inclusion, Education, and Atlas Logistics
∎ Number of staff: Around 308 National staff and 04 international staff
∎ HI is currently looking for some Data Enumerators for Rohingya Response and National Resilience Programme (RRNRP) project funded by FCDO.
∎ Job Location: Camp 24, Teknaf
∎ Employment Type: Contractual (Daily Basis)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ According to UNHCR population data the prevalence of persons with disabilities as only 1% of the camp population. Whereas independent studies Conducted by REACH using the Washington Group of Questionnaires found 12% prevalence of persons with disabilities in the camps. Which is a significantly higher percentage than that UNHCR data. HI has not conducted yet a detail formal disability profile survey yet but technically supported the study conducted by reach on May 2021. One of the purpose of this study is to Cross check and support the REACH studies data and share with other stake holders.
∎ This year under FCDO project HI planned to conduct a detailed disability profile in camp 24 to support evidence-based advocacy and improved program planning of humanitarian actors and authorities. This Disability profile will be shared among various sectors, Stakeholders and authorities which will enable accurate planning for their humanitarian services. This study will reduces efforts to do screening and identification, organize awareness session and planning to mobilize internal resource and necessary procurement. Overall, it will provide a clear data about disability prevalence particularly in selected camps.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ The candidate must have experience in data collection in Camp & Host community.
∎ The candidate must have English language skills.
∎ The candidate must follow rules and regulation of HI Personnel Policy.
∎ The candidate must be Bangladeshi national from Cox’s Bazar district.
∎ The candidate must be 18 years old age and above.
∎ The candidate must be fluent in Chittagonian language.
∎ The candidate should have android phone with good charge backup.
∎ Female and persons with disabilities are highly encourage to apply.
∎ The Data Enumerators will be recruited on daily basis.
∎ All the required data will be collected through home visit of individual beneficiaries.
∎ They have to arrange local transport by their own cost for field visit during training and data collection.

Salary:
∎ Terms & Conditions from HI: Data Enumerator receives BDT 1,000.00 (One Thousand BDT) per day as remuneration Working hour will be 8.00 am to 5:00 pm (including 1 hour lunch break); Total 8 hours per day. Data Enumerator can enjoy all the government declared holidays; but it will not count as working day. HI will not provide the car support for Data Enumerators. Data enumerator can`t share the HI beneficiary data with other actor or agency. He/she must follow the data protection policy. He/she must work from office and Field (Camp).
