• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in cutting management within woven garments.

• In-depth knowledge of fabric types, markers, shrinkage, and cutting technology.

• Familiarity with CAD marker software (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, etc.).

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Experience in manpower planning and team supervision.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily cutting activities according to production and shipment schedules.
• Coordinate with merchandising, planning, and fabric store to ensure timely fabric availability.
• Prepare daily and weekly cutting plans based on production requirements.
• Ensure accurate fabric inspection, shrinkage, and shade grouping before cutting.
• Approve and check markers for accuracy and efficiency to minimize fabric wastage.
• Monitor spreading, cutting, numbering, bundling, and fusing processes.
• Ensure proper cut part reconciliation between cutting and sewing sections.
• Maintain accurate records of fabric consumption, balance, and wastage.
• Ensure cut panels are checked and numbered properly before sending to sewing.
• Supervise and manage cutting section manpower (cutters, spreaders, helpers).
• Ensure all cutting machines (straight knife, band knife, fusing, etc.) are maintained and calibrated properly.
• Control and reduce fabric wastage within acceptable limits.
• Maintain strict quality control and ensure adherence to buyer specifications.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the cutting section.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cutting reports and submit them to management.
