Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum M.S. in Clinical Psychology/ Counselling Psychology with at least one year supervised clinical internship in BMDC recognized mental hospital/ specialized/ general hospital.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The purpose of this post is to work with other team members to give women who have been damaged by poverty and abuse the self-esteem and psychological skills needed to benefit from the training at SPP and to be able to support themselves and their children in the community on discharge.
∎ RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (NOT LIMITED WITH THESE):
∎ Conduct formal individualized assessment of the mothers.
∎ Work with multidisciplinary team (MDT) to develop a consensus baseline of the problems for each mother.
∎ Prepare evidence based intervention plan with MDT to manage the psychological issues.
∎ Provide individual sessions both for the mothers and children tailored to their needs.
∎ Arrange and conduct group sessions both for the mothers and children tailored to their needs.
∎ Provide evidence based intervention approaches to help the mothers to manage their intense negative emotions effectively.
∎ Refer for psychiatric assessment and treatment based on needs.
∎ Work with the children for managing their challenging behaviors.
∎ Establish a psychological service system from admission to rehabilitation whole process.
∎ Work with the mothers to enhance self -esteem before their release/rehabilitation.
∎ As member of the Child Safe Guarding Committee to safe guard the children.
∎ Leasing, as necessary, with other agencies and individuals for better service.
∎ Prepare counseling report on monthly basis and report to Care Unit periodically.
∎ Keep the records through proper documentation procedure.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 33 to 46 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ We are looking for person we have good communication and report writing skill and must be computer literate.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 25000 - 40000 (Monthly)
∎ Other facilities following HR policy and practice (i.e. Bonus, Provident Fund, Gratuity etc.). SPP will provide partially paid accommodation with subsidised food.
