Job Context:
∎ We are working for destitute women and children at Sreepur; Gazipur district is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Officer - Fundraising & External Relations based at Dhaka Office under the supervision of Head of Fundraising & External relations.
∎ MAIN PURPOSE: Raising funds for the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in developing goals and a plan for raising money
∎ Refine that plan to adopt strategies and campaigns that reflect the ideals of the company
∎ Identify and explore donor pools
∎ Personally handle VIP donors
∎ Write grant proposals and manage endowments
∎ Plan and manage marketing efforts like direct mail campaigns
∎ Plan fundraising events such as dinners, receptions, and parties
∎ Develop alliances with other organizations
∎ Work collaboratively to enhance fundraising efforts
∎ Conducting research on fundraising opportunities.
∎ Writing, submitting, and uploading press releases as required.
∎ Writing funding proposals and submitting these to potential donors.
∎ Preparing quarterly budgets.
∎ Coming up with ingenious ways to raise awareness.
∎ Implementing a variety of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
∎ Organizing and attending non-profit events and networking with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Establishing good relationships with staff, members of the public, and the media.
∎ Any other job assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 33 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least one years' experience of Institutional Donors, Trusts and Foundations fundraising in an established charity.
∎ A proven track record in writing successful high value fundraising proposals and budgets that secures funding from Institutional Donors, trust and foundations.
∎ A thorough understanding of best practice in applying to Institutional Donors, trusts and foundations.
∎ Excellent project management and coordination skills.
∎ A good understanding of international development programmes.
∎ Ability to write well-researched, compelling and convincing, creative, tailored, Institutional Donors, trust and Foundations applications.
∎ Good levels of numeracy and previous budget preparation experience.
∎ Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills both in Bangla & English.
Salary: Tk. 15000 - 30000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ T/A, Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Provident fund
∎ Lunch Facilities: Partially Subsidize
∎ Festival Bonus: 1
∎ Other facilities following SPP HR policy and practice (i.e. bonus, PF, gratuity, Medical Benefits), after service confirmation.
∎ SPP will provide free single accommodation with subsidized food.
