Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters preferably in Psychology/ Social Welfare/ Social Work/ Sociology or any relevant subjects from any recognised university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent will provide counseling services to the migrants and migrants family members at the grass root level, at reintegration service centre and refer migrants for advance counseling. Besides, s/he will maintain electronic database of the returnee migrant workers.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop a counseling plan of Reintegration Service Centre as per the monthly target.
∎ Provide/ facilitate training for the Para-counselor as per plan.
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly training and counseling report for Reintegration Service Centre (district level office).
∎ Develop a compilation report of all Reintegration Service Centres.
∎ Provide counseling to the returnee migrant workers and their family members.
∎ Refer migrant workers for trauma counseling and undertake case management related activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong knowledge on training facilitation and participant counseling
∎ Excellent communications and reporting skills
∎ Sound coordination and management skills
∎ Minimum 01 year of work experience in counseling, training facilitation and orientation at community level of Bangladesh is preferred.
