∎ The Opportunity: USAID-funded Shobai Miley Shikhi (Everyone Learns Together) Program in Bangladesh aims to improve learning outcomes for children with disabilities (CWD) in Government Primary Schools in targeted areas. To achieve these outcomes, key focus areas will be strengthening government service delivery of disability-inclusive education and creating inclusive school environments and instruction for children with disabilities to improve learning outcomes. In addition, the program will support a small number of private schools, and models will also be tested to identify approaches through the non-formal system including non-formal education centers and community groups to improve learning outcomes for CWDs. The Coordinator will be overall responsible for program implementation at field level; ensuring high-quality program delivery at the local level and that annual program results targets are met or exceeded for the Shobai Miley Shikhi (Everyone Learns Together) project at the regional/local level. The role holder is a key position with major responsibility for coordination, project implementation, monitoring, reporting, and advocacy at the local level under the project lead`s supervision. Responsibilities also included overseeing technical aspects of the project to ensure quality programming and strong systems of accountability and keeping close liaison with Partner NGOs, government agencies, OPDs, communities, and all stakeholders at the local and regional levels. S/he will be ensuring the SBCC activities at the community level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of proven experience in the development sector, preferably working on community education activities in Bangladesh.
∎ Experience in USAID-funded programs and with disability-inclusive education is preferred
∎ Prior experience working in a combination of the area(s) of special education, inclusive education, community mobilization, primary education, or literacy programming
∎ Proven experience working collaboratively with partners and building the capacity of government bodies and local NGOs.
∎ Good understanding of strategies for achieving child protection, psychosocial programming policies through participatory processes, and the links with gender, diversity, and other aspects of identity.
∎ Strong analytical skills and ability to manage and report complex information.
∎ Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work effectively as a member of a team;
∎ Ability to build and maintain relationships with partner agencies and key contacts in the government, NGO, civil society (coalitions), and media sectors.
∎ Skills in teamwork, networking, planning, coordinating, management, presentation, monitoring and analytical skills.
∎ Strong background in donor reporting and documentation and good report writing ability.
∎ Computer literacy having good skills software (MS Word, MS Excel, Power point tware).
∎ Excellent communications skills in both English and Bangla.
