Job Context:
∎ The job incumbent is responsible for management information systems (MIS) understanding of the key duties, tasks, and responsibilities of a business analyst. S/he is responsible for keeping the core financial system up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the organization, considering both MIS & FIS reporting and required ad-hoc analytical report demand for management.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Undertake and assist with managing business change and emergency implementation activities; also help the in-house teams to evaluate, design, plan, implement and test new requirements
∎ Involvement in the financial system implementation and ensure business user’s requirements are in place
∎ Perform situational analysis, review of financial statement and other reports to define system flaws for troubleshooting and issue resolution
∎ Monitor routine jobs [periodic MIS & financial statement verification] of MIS teams for both branch & HO also manage and communicate exceptions for corrective measures
∎ Understand business user’s requirement and maintain database to fulfil the requirement and MIS reporting
∎ Manage end-user queries and triage incidents as necessary
∎ Develop MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance
∎ Provide recommendations to update current MIS for improving reporting efficiency and consistency
∎ Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis and providing regular MIS reports to senior management
∎ Understand business user’s problems and provide appropriate technical solutions (lead the IT Project, system maintenance, change management, day-to-day systems support and issue resolution)
∎ High integrity and ethics when handling confidential information
∎ Work closely with MIS team and perform other duties as and when required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 40 years
∎ Candidates must have knowledge of SDLC, Database (SQL Server), Data analysis tools, Easy Business Understanding, Communication skills, Domain knowledge & Team work
∎ An analytical mind, Experience of Financial Sector, Statistical Analysis or Work as business analyst, Good relationship with vendor & colleagues
