∎ Fluent speaking power, communication, emotional control, good motivator, counselor and team building, report writing & presentation, computer operation.
∎ Working in Team Setting with diverse programs and skills. Ability to interact positively, with good interpersonal skills and synthesizing team's inputs into reports.
∎ Experience in project planning, designing, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, report writing, office equipment operation, field level & team working.
∎ Must have 05 (five) years of experience working on Climate change/ adaptation/ mitigation.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop strategies, guidelines, plan and budget for project implementation.
∎ Analyze different Resilience Building Framework and mainstream "Resilience Building Principle" based on community needs.
∎ Follow up national and international policies related to climate change and resilience building.
∎ Develop Training materials for staff and farmers/communities and provide guideline for demonstration of different technologies in field and Technology Park.
∎ Develop and publish quality reports on the key achievements of the project, to reach wider stakeholders at national and international level.
∎ Coordination and Implementation of the project activities in line with planned project outputs and outcomes.
∎ Innovate and disseminate different Climate Adaptive Technologies especially related to water, agriculture and energy sector.
∎ Build community awareness on Climate Change & Disaster Risk Reduction and ensure community participation for Resilience Building.
∎ Strengthen people's organizations through capacity and awareness building.
∎ Monitor implementation process and provide necessary feedback to improve quality of services and related activities.
∎ Conduct different research, analyze data through SPSS and showcase the best outcomes.
∎ Analyze outcomes of project activities and prepare analysis reports for project reporting.
∎ Explore and provide technical information to the field team regarding climate change adaptation practices in different sector specially in agriculture.
∎ Seek and develop ideas regarding different types of adaptation and mitigation solutions which is applicable at community level.
∎ Guide and lead field team in implementing to achieve the project objectives within stipulated timeframe.
∎ Regular lead with field team to track the progress of the progress and recommend further measures for ensuring progress.
∎ Develop different kinds of knowledge products, stories considering project progress and positive changes in people's lives throughout the project implementation.
∎ Extensive field visit at the project implementation areas (Coastal and Drought) to monitor and assist the field team.
∎ Networking with research institutes and universities like BRRI, BARI, SRDI, DAE etc.
∎ Building and maintaining Partnership with national and international resilience building platforms and/or alliances.
∎ Participate in different national/ International (COPE, Etc.) events related to climate change and resilience building.
∎ Communicate with Donor efficiently and effectively.
∎ Prepare good quality reports for addition to donor reports.
∎ Represent CCDB/ Project as required.
∎ Facilitate the Interactive Group.
∎ Assist and provide support to other components of the project including knowledge generation, capacity building.
∎ Providing support to other relevant components of projects and program of CCDB as required.
∎ Innovate and integrate new dimensions for resilience building, along with adequate interactions with staff team members.
∎ Visit project locations with specific objectives and submit back to base report, on work done with specific recommendations.

∎ Project Name: Promoting Climate Resilient Community in Bangladesh (PCRCB): Phase II Project.
∎ Job Summary: The Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB), established in 1973, is dedicated to creating a just and inclusive society by empowering marginalized communities through sustainable development initiatives. Operating across 29 districts, CCDB has reached over 100,000 households, focusing on women, ethnic communities, and youth. A cornerstone of CCDB’s efforts is its Climate Change Program (CCP), which supports communities in adapting to the adverse effects of climate change. Central feature of CCP is the Climate Centre, which provides interactive learning and training to community members, government officials, NGOs, and other stakeholders. Through the center, CCDB equips people with the skills needed to address climate challenges and build resilience. The CCP’s capacity-building wing offers tailor-made training on climate change, gender-responsive approaches, and risk assessments, fostering local and international expertise to address climate impact.
∎ Role of the Position: The main responsibilities of the Coordinator- Resilience Building will be to lead and to coordinate all the activities related to community resilience building ranging from designing to implementation and beyond. Along with building synergies with other components of the project, he or she will be responsible to ensure best possible achievements in line with the ultimate deliverables of the entire project.      Documenting project related achievements, through different program activities, for sharing this internally and externally, so that others can benefit from the efforts and investments done through this project. In addition, document other related initiatives taken anywhere in Bangladesh or others countries, which can be integrated or disseminated to other stakeholders.
