Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree, preferably in Social Sciences/Mass Communications/English or relevant discipline.

Job Context:

∎ Contract Type: Regular

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of working experience in protection, humanitarian, campaigns, or advocacy work in humanitarian/conflict settings area including a minimum of 1 (one) year of experience working in refugee response context.
∎ Proven experience and a good understanding of the Rohingya Response program and Cox's Bazar area.
∎ Prior experience, with proven impact, working in humanitarian advocacy in a large INGO.
∎ Demonstrate experience assessing and managing risk for a large country programme in a politically sensitive context.
∎ Ability to write policy or communications products (private briefs, op-eds, press releases etc) of high quality at short notice.
∎ Sound understanding of Media and Communication products required in emergency settings.
∎ Excellent skills in advocating towards government officials, humanitarian actors, donors, and UN agencies in developing countries and emergency context.
∎ Excellent attention to detail and Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people.
∎ Proven experience in computer operation in MS office specially Power Point.
∎ Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills in English, with experience interacting with multicultural teams.
