Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Tasks to be performed under this contract
∎ The Government of Bangladesh (GoB), through the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment (MoEWOE), has formulated the draft National Reintegration Policy for Migrant Workers to promote sustainable and dignified reintegration of returnee migrant workers. To effectively implement this policy and ensure sustainable reintegration services delivery, the development of Operational Guidelines is required. These guidelines will provide clear procedures, roles, and responsibilities for relevant stakeholders to ensure coordinated and accountable implementation of reintegration support services.
∎ The assignment will be carried out with technical support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) as the lead agency for implementing the project and UN Women, and in close coordination with the Technical Working Committee formed by the GoB.
