Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Public Health, Epidemiology, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management or Community Development Studies

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ JRRP is conducting a KAP survey to establish a baseline for community well-being; prevalence of communicable and non-communicable diseases; vaccine coverage; maternal and child health knowledge and health seeking behaviours; uptake of and attitude towards family planning; infant and young child feeding practices including exclusive breastfeeding; knowledge of key hygiene practices to prevent communicable diseases; and attitudes towards COVID-19 vaccines. The KAP survey will be conducted in Camps 5, 7 and 12.
∎ 1. Survey Planning
∎ Advise on minimum requirements for enumerators to be recruited for the survey.
∎ Adhere to the survey timeframe and coordinate with field teams on logistics plans including household list collection.
∎ Develop and share materials for enumerator and supervisor training in time for printing before field deployment.
∎ 2. Data Analysis and Reporting
∎ Respect the given timeframes for submitting the datasets, preliminary and final report to JRRP.
∎ Develop an analysis plan and share with the MEAL Officer and HQ MEAL Advisor for review.
∎ Conduct initial data analysis and provide written summary and PowerPoint presentation of preliminary findings.
∎ Conduct in-depth data analysis and compare with prior national and local surveys as relevant.
∎ Incorporate conclusions and recommendations developed by MTI Bangladesh team.
∎ Write a draft survey report with relevant charts and data visualizations and submit it for review by HQ Health and MEAL Advisors.
∎ Complete the final report based on the feedback from MTI advisors. The final report should include conclusive remarks and recommendations based on the findings of the survey. It will then be reviewed and signed off in-country and by HQ Advisors.
∎ DELIVERABLES:
∎ Definition of sampling methodology and sample frame
∎ Analysis plan / indicator tabulation plan
∎ Enumerator training presentation detailing operational definition of terms, special cases and standardized data collection procedures.
∎ Raw dataset in Excel for the completed questionnaires
∎ Preliminary survey results document and summarized power point presentation
∎ Final baseline survey report in English. Confidence intervals to be reported for each indicator.
∎ Originals of any charts or graphs
∎ JRRP RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Develop and finalize survey instruments in English and Rohingya in Kobo.
∎ Arrangement of travel to and from Cox’s Bazaar, to and from the different survey locations, and booking of accommodation while the consultant is in transit if required.
∎ Facilitate transport within Bangladesh.
∎ Conduct enumerators’ training including field practice (pre-test) and competency review.
∎ Provide translators for consultant as needed
∎ Provide staff for data-collection
∎ Reimburse reasonable expenses with valid receipts

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
