Educational Requirements:
∎ Essential Engineering or construction diploma/education.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervising and monitoring on a day-to-day basis the implementation of the building and rehabilitation activities in the project ensuring compliance of MSF standards, protocols and procedures.
∎ This includes the following tasks:Supervising and leading the logistic team under his/her responsibility including the definition of each person's tasks (daily supervision and checking the quality of their work); drawing up a working schedule; organizing and leading team meetings.
∎ Providing monthly activity reports and implementing reporting practices and protocols in order to ensure that all vehicle documentation is in order and inspection reports are filled in by the driver's Definition/ Feasibility/ Design.
∎ In accordance with the line manager, assist in the budget preparation and estimates in ACP and SCP, establishing adequate estimates and feasible construction projects.
∎ Responsible for preparing construction layouts/drawings/designs in Auto CAD 2D & 3D format, for submitting accordingly the constructions estimation with appropriate Bill of Quantities, that respects MSF Standards for construction and Health care facilities.
∎ Responsible for meeting the Camp management’s administrative requirements by ensuring the modifications in design if required, filling in paperwork after Project Initiation Form, and following up on the status of construction projects by conducting regular meetings with CMO at camp locations.
∎ In accordance with the line manager and Authorization Table, provide assistance in the contracting process by determining technical requirements in Bid Analysis, and potential tenders (technical criteria, site visits) prior to contracting.
∎ Monitoring: Accountable for meeting deadlines on project construction by providing a detailed time schedule for it, ensuring the appropriate resources ( material and staff), establishing a regular follow-up of activities with staff or contractors to finish the works in a timely manner, and Adjusting constantly to potential changes.
∎ Ability to manage and supervise multiple construction projects with urgent deadlines and support the hospital logistic supervisor as needed.
∎ Supervise sub-contractors, evaluating them, by constant monitoring and control of performance.
∎ Ensure quality of the materials by providing detailed specifications matching with Bangladesh national building code and MSF Standards, and responsible for acceptance or rejection of material at the project level to meet MSF construction requirements and ensure adequate storage of resources.
∎ Ensuring construction documents and archives are always completed following MSF requirements to all phases of the construction project to handover (Layouts, drawing, designs, PIF, Bid Analysis, Tender, Contract, Construction reports, certification of provisional acceptance, certificate of handover)
∎ Accountable with the assistance of the line manager of the masterplan, adapting existing structures and redesigning the global layout facilities if needed with strategic thinking and planning, to the potential new needs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Education: Essential Engineering or construction diploma/education.
∎ Experience: Essential 2 years of previous experience in similar jobs.
∎ Knowledge Essential Computer literacy, desirable Auto CAD 2D, 3D
∎ Languages: Bangla and English essential, Chittagonian desirable

Salary:
∎ Tk. 64600 - 77520 (Monthly)
∎ Salary according to Level six (06) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 64600-77520 Gross). 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employees and direct dependents.
No relocation allowance shall be provided.
