Habitat for Humanity International Bangladesh office (HFHI-B) is currently looking for interested and qualified candidates for the following position.

• Expected starting date: July 1, 2026

• Reports to: Project Manager

• Type of contract: Full time employment

• Duration: Till 31 May 2027

Purpose:

• The Construction Supervisor is responsible for supervising, monitoring, and reporting on climate-resilient housing, WASH, drainage, and small-scale community infrastructure works implemented by Habitat for Humanity Bangladesh (HFHB) under the project “Building Resilient Futures: Comprehensive Climate Adaptation for Climate Migrants and Vulnerable Populations” in Cox’s Bazar.

• The position will ensure that all construction and rehabilitation activities are implemented in accordance with approved technical designs, quality standards, safety requirements, environmental considerations, and project timelines. The Construction Supervisor will oversee field-level implementation of climate-resilient housing repair and construction, WASH facilities etc. while coordinating closely with contractors, skilled workers, volunteers, community representatives, and project staff.

• Given the environmental context of Cox’s Bazar, the role will particularly support implementation of climate-adaptive and hazard-responsive construction approaches suitable for flood-prone, waterlogged, and landslide-vulnerable areas.
