Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Conduct and facilitate specialized training sessions on child rights, child protection, and issues related to online and offline Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) for diverse groups, specifically: Youths, Children, Parents: , Institutional Actors.

  • Organize and deliver community-based awareness sessions focused on child rights, child protection, PDEP (project-specific meaning), and CSAE issues, targeting parents/caregivers and children

  • Provide sustained support to ensure these groups can independently organize and conduct their Bi-Monthly Group Meetings to voice concerns, offer peer support, and take protective actions against sexual abuse and exploitation.

  • Organize quarterly consultation meetings led by marginalized communities to specifically address and ensure protection from CSAE.

  • Organize meetings with School Management Committees (SMC), teachers, and parents to support the establishment of a child-friendly environment and a formal School Protocol within educational institutions.

  • Facilitate the formation/reformation of the CBCPC at project locations and provide support for organizing their Bi-Monthly Meetings

  • In collaboration with the Department of Social Services (DSS), provide capacity-building support to the CBCPC on the child protection referral system.

  • Provide capacity building support to CBCPC members and Community-based Para Counselors on Psychosocial First Aid (PFA).

  • Provide PFA and Psychosocial Counseling, and offer need-based immediate support (such as transportation for medical tests or safe movement) to victims of sexual abuse and exploitation, utilizing project resources and established referral mechanisms.

  • Conduct service mapping to identify potential Service Providers and organize quarterly coordination meetings with service providers to strengthen the referral system.

  • Develop and ensure the installation of messaging on Community Walls and stickers detailing hotline numbers and reporting procedures to strengthen CSAE incident reporting and accountability.

  • Assist in organizing meetings with Legal Aid Committees, Law Enforcement Agencies (including the cybercrime unit), and judicial personnel (Public Prosecutors/Judges) to facilitate legal support and access to formal judicial procedure for child victims from marginalized communities.

  • Maintain proper documentation, record-keeping, and compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all group formation, training, and community engagement activities.
