∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Socielogy, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science
∎ Applicant should have a university degree or equivalent qualification in Sociology, Theater Study, Political Science or other closely related subjects in social sciences. (Educational Requirements may be considered for an experienced candidate).

∎ Good computer skills on Microsoft Office Tools, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
∎ Proficient spoken and written English language skills and the capacity to produce quality reports independently;
∎ Should have the ability to handle pressure.
∎ 02 years of experience in the related field.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Implement all planned activities for CSOs and Youth Group
∎ Assist and facilitate community activism through CSOs, Youth and child groups to enhance capacities for claiming Child rights.
∎ Organize and conduct training for the transfer skills and capacities of the members of CSOs, youth, and child groups
∎ Organize and conduct workshops, meetings with the social Opinion leaders and local elected bodies.
∎ Responsible for preparing a work plan for the community organisers and Program Supervisors.
∎ Assist in organizing other official events related to Human Rights Awareness and Training programs, and maintain cooperation with other ASK programs.
∎ Organize a study circle to clarify the conceptual understanding of Child Rights, human rights, and gender legal issues.
∎ Prepare field reports, event-based reports, and assist with any other periodic reports.
∎ Maintain file records and other related documents.
∎ Participate in training, workshops, seminars, and other relevant activities as per official decision.
∎ Any other work required by ASK management.
∎ Accountable to the Project Coordinator.
∎ Project Name : “Speak up! Empowering CSOs to protect children and youths’ freedom of expression by capitalising on the opportunities and addressing the challenges of the digital space in Bangladesh”.
∎ Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) was established in 1986 as a national legal aid and human rights organization. Initially its work was limited to providing free legal services to the disempowered particularly women, working children and workers. ASK has evolved a more comprehensive approach to the promotion, protection and prevention in the area of legal and human rights. ASK's strategies to promote human rights awareness and community activism; offer legal aid through mediation and litigation while survivors are given psycho-social counseling; investigations into human rights violations and their documentation are supplemented by research which together lead to media campaigns to defend human rights, and public interest litigation for law and policy reform. ASK is going to implement an EU funded project with the support of Terre des Hommes Netherlands Bangladesh. The project will focus the risk and the vulnerability of online sexual exploitation of the children and freedom of speech; the risk and the safety clause of the youth in using online platform.
