Educational Requirements:
∎ HSC

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Measure MUAC and assess for Oedema.
∎ Measure Weight and Height.
∎ Complete the admission section of the Child Monitoring Card (CMC) and assign a card number If the child meets the criteria for enrollment.
∎ Conduct a physical examination, and record results on the CMC.
∎ Follow the Action Protocol to determine if there are any medical complications.
∎ Ensure complete medical history taken and record on the CMC.
∎ Transfer the child to the nearest inpatient care facility/SC if the child has medical complications or Oedema of any grade.
∎ Conduct appetite test for SAM without medical complication and admit based on appetite test result.
∎ Ensure the discharge criteria of SAM, MAM, and MAM PLW as per the guideline and discharge/ transfer accordingly.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
