Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-graduation (M.S.) with 4-years graduation (Hons.) in Nutrition and Food Science or relevant subjects.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and monitor full anthropometric assessment at the field level, ensuring proper admission-discharge criteria are followed for all the children and PLW.
∎ Ensure the quality of regular nutrition education sessions by making dynamic plans of cascading efficient messages at the center level.
∎ Ensure that edema checking and screening are done properly at the community level.
∎ Ensure the quality of rapid assessment of PLW at the field level.
∎ Ensure regular IYCF messaging in the community.
∎ Ensure appropriate IEC materials are used by field-level staff in the door-to-door messaging and counseling.
∎ Ensure good quality nutrition education sessions at the center by making dynamic plans of cascading efficient messages at the community level.
∎ Ensure the implementation and follow-up of standard protocols in the community-level assessment.
∎ Ensure monthly and regular basis IFA distribution among the targeted group in the camps by avoiding duplication.
∎ Prepare monthly work plans for CNVs for ensuring 100% coverage of beneficiaries in the whole camp.
∎ Make sure that effective and fruitful home visits are done by CNVs.
∎ Properly identification of SAM/MAM and under 5 years child and PLW.
∎ Make sure all data and information related to beneficiaries are recorded and calculated properly.
∎ Implement team-building activities to promote harmony and motivation among field-level staff.
∎ Track and manage CNVs days off and handle the replacement of personnel as needed.
∎ Ensure that CNVs strictly adhere to their job descriptions and fulfill their responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Prepare work plan for the CNVs.
∎ Promptly report any staff management issues to the Nutrition Site Supervisor.
∎ Identify the needs for training for CNVs.
∎ Conduct daily/weekly daily briefing for CNVs based on their regular activities.
∎ Regularly conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) based on need.
∎ Use prescribed reporting formats.
∎ Prepare monthly targets and activities plans for CNVs.
∎ Ensure the daily, weekly and monthly records of screening and home visit reports are in place.
∎ Analyze the monthly reports and beneficiary database to minimize the gaps and maximize the performance.
∎ Ensure and maintain the home visit checklists.
∎ Support NSS to prepare beneficiary database and case studies.
∎ To foster strong working relationships with all sector partners and the relevant authorities at the CIC.
∎ Work in close collaboration & coordination with site management, other national and international NGO, community leaders such as Majhi and Imam.
∎ Active participation in and supervision of the AAP, Exit interview, PDM, community mobilization and awareness sessions among the local population.
∎ To monitor the field level program activities and prepare action plans based on the findings regularly.
∎ Regularly share the lessons learned with the program team.
∎ Regularly analyze the community screening and home visit reports to identify gaps and take corrective measures.
∎ Maintain coordination with the MEAL team to evaluate program performances and support the PM to arrange lesson learning workshop to set up improvement plan for the future.
∎ To implement other activities, related to the objectives of the technical support unit, as assigned by the Line manager.
∎ Any other assignments were given by the Line manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Experience on managing Rohingya refugee program will add value.
∎ Should be well versed on technical aspects like CMAM, IYCF, CMAMI etc.
∎ Knowledge on the local language will add value.
∎ Should have a good observation and analytical skill.
∎ Should have the capability of interpersonal communication skills, especially on proficiency in speaking in English.
∎ Proficiency in MS excel, word, powerpoint etc. are expected.
∎ Must have good analytical skill.
∎ Must have supportive supervision and leadership skills.
∎ Must have good decision-making skill.
∎ Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Must have good team building capacity.
∎ Must be self-motivated and able to motivate the field staff.
∎ Must be able to work in camp locations in Ukhiya
∎ Project locations are in remote areas in refugee camp. Staff is expected to live in his/her based location.
