Job Context:
∎ Organizational Unit: Field Office
∎ Job`s aim: Is responsible to work with waste collectors and aggregators.
∎ Aim of the Organizational Unit: Is responsible for livelihoods of waste collectors and aggregator.

∎ The Coca Cola funded the Recycling for the Environment by Strengthening Income and Livelihood of the Entrepreneurs (RESILIENT) Enhance the livelihood of the waste actors by strengthening the value chain to increase collection of plastic waste by improving waste governance in land and water bodies in Dhaka North and Narayanganj.
∎ The Community Mobilizer is the frontline position of RESILENT project under Cordaid for the capacity building of the waste collectors, aggregates including data collection, regular field visit, work plan development, reporting, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Frequent cluster areas visit in Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) or Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) areas.
∎ Identify the plastic waste collectors, aggregators and recyclers at community level;
∎ Beneficiaries' identification, selection and rapport building at assign working areas;
∎ Data collection though using online platform.
∎ Group formation and group mobilization from the selected beneficiaries.
∎ Support to key stakeholders' communication (DNCC/NCC, Local Govt. bodies, local elites, local school committee members, meeting/ workshop arrangement.
∎ Organize and conduct group meeting, inception meeting, training sessions etc.;
∎ Maintain proper documentation such as attendance sheet, mater roll etc.;
∎ Regular update the field information to Supervisor (respected Project Associate)/ Project Manager.
∎ Prepare case studies, video documentation, photography as required.
∎ Organize different knowledge sharing event like Learning Visit, Cross Visit, Campaign Activities etc.;
∎ Support to donor/ client visit at field level.
∎ Prepare several field reports as required by management.
∎ Any other assignments from management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preference will be given to the candidate who worked in waste management related work in the slum areas in Dhaka & Narayanganj city corporation.
∎ Good in rapport building in the community.
∎ Have skill in community mobilization and mentality to work in slum areas in city corporation.
∎ Good coordination skill with stakeholders
