Job Context:
∎ Type of Contract: Fixed Term Contract up to 31 August 2021 with possibility of extension
∎ Job Purpose: S/he will be responsible for the capacity building of Rohingya and host community on income generation activities and small business skills to improve the livelihoods of vulnerable households such as households with older people over 60 years.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Train project beneficiaries on livelihoods approaches, and implementation of interventions and activities targeting older people over 60 years
∎ Conduct community sensitization meetings with leaders and influential persons to ensure buy in and beneficiaries trust and willingness to participate in the project
∎ Monitor performance of Geriatric Case Workers in the field, ensure timely performance development reviews for each of them, and ensure the welfare, safety and security of the Geriatric Case Workers in liaison with HR and Project Officer - FSL.
∎ Support MEAL team in data collection for surveys and evaluations.
∎ Share weekly field activities updates with the Project Officer - Livelihoods
∎ Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern's Code of Conduct and its associated safeguarding policies and Core Humanitarian Standards of Accountability (CHS) to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries, and to welcome feedback.
∎ Any other duties as specified by the Line Manager/Country Director/Emergency Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ One (01) year work experience in Food Security and Livelihoods related field
∎ Field experience such as community mobilization is required
∎ Good knowledge on Rohingya refugee context is required
∎ Ability to communicate fluently in Rohingya language or Chittagonian is required
∎ Experience working with older people over 60 years would be an advantage
Salary:
∎ Gross Salary Range BDT 35,394/-
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly Hardship Allowance of BDT 10,000/-, PF (contributory), Bonus (02), Gratuity, Group life and Hospitalisation Insurance coverages, OPD coverage, Mobile ceiling as per organisational policy
