Job Context:
∎ Type of Contract: Fixed Term up to 31 December 2020
∎ Salary and Benefits As per organisational policy
∎ Job Purpose: S/he will be responsible for community based support to the project implementation, from mobilization and engagement of community leaders, beneficiaries` mobilization and engagement, beneficiaries training and support supervision, distribution of inputs to beneficiaries` feedback complaints and response mechanisms related to all aspects of the poultry rearing in the project. The CM will provide technical support volunteers for day-to-day support to the targeted households.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Implementation: Support preliminary field assessment and beneficiary selection for small scale poultry rearing within the Rohingya Refugee camps.
∎ Guide volunteers through support supervision field visits and hands on support on the different aspects of the project including supporting households to find ways to increase productivity that allows them to have enough for home consumption and surplus for sale to enable them meet additional household needs.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation: Supervise the volunteers' day to day project implementation according to a work plan and ensure good project performance and recommendation on any required modification.
∎ Build capacity and support volunteers to use the M&E tools provided for the project for data collection and reporting.
∎ Support the MEAL team in the complaints and response mechanisms systems, at community and household level.
∎ Reporting: Document weekly volunteers and project achievements, challenges and beneficiary and community leaders' suggestions and submit weekly reports to the PO.
∎ Additional Roles: Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern's HR policies, Concern's Code of Conduct and its associated safeguarding policies and Core Humanitarian Standards of Accountability (CHS) to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries, and to welcome feedback.
∎ Undertake other related duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Country Director/Emergency Director or the line manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1 years' work experience in poultry production
∎ Experience in team management, capacity building and supervision
∎ Experience working in Rohingya Response or similar response
∎ Excellent organisational, leadership and interpersonal skills
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is desirable
