BRAC is an international development organization founded in Bangladesh that partners with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty globally to create sustainable opportunities to realize potential. BRAC Migration Programme promotes safe migration, prevents trafficking, and supports sustainable reintegration—ensuring well-being and long-term stability for migrants, returnees, and their families.
The Mass Awareness Campaign to Combat Human Trafficking and People Smuggling (2025–2026), led by BRAC with the Australian Border Force, will raise awareness and build resilience among at-risk youth (14–35), families, Rohingya communities, and key influencers in high-risk districts. Through community events, digital outreach to 2.5 million people, and capacity building for media, law enforcement, and officials, this 11-month, AUD 1.39M initiative will prevent trafficking, empower survivors, and support Australia’s border protection goals.
