Responsibilities & Context:

Context:
This role is to act as the frontline representative of the project within the community, identifying and motivating eligible NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) youth to enroll in vocational training. The Community Mobiliser is essential for ensuring that the project reaches the most vulnerable populations, particularly young women and marginalized groups, to drive inclusive economic resilience.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door-to-door surveys and community mapping to identify eligible NEET youth (15–35) in assigned upazila.

  • Organize awareness sessions and outreach activities to promote training opportunities.

  • Ensure at least 50% female participation through targeted mobilization.

  • Maintain an updated database of potential trainees for VLTCs.

  • Assist selected youth with enrollment and required documentation for MIS.

  • Follow up with irregular trainees through home visits and counseling.

  • Build relationships with local leaders, religious figures, and youth groups.

  • Support transparent distribution of training materials and stipends.

  • Submit regular field reports on progress and community feedback.

  • Ensure accurate documentation for MIS data entry.

 

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
