Additional Requirements:
∎ Diploma/Graduation of any discipline.
∎ Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in Rohingya Camps is required.
∎ Work experience in emergency response project/ Rohingya camps.
∎ Must be able to speak the local Chittagong language.
∎ Female candidates are strongly preferred.
∎ Experience in community mobilization, need assessment, beneficiary selection, input distribution and training delivery.
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, good team player.
∎ Willing to work in any camps in Ukhiya Upazila.
∎ Punctual and good at time management and strong relationship building skills.
∎ Understanding of protection issues facing our beneficiaries.
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in Bengali

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The role of the Community Mobilizer (CM) is to mobilize the community, selection of the beneficiaries, capacity building of the beneficiary, input distribution/ asset transfer, organize, facilitate training on Homestead Gardening, Mentoring and Coaching for target beneficiaries and delivering the project activities in the field.
∎ Liaison:
∎ Maintain liaison and coordination with local authorities and stakeholders.
∎ Attend meetings/ events organized externally and represent the project and Cordaid properly.
∎ Organize and assist events observing different key International Days.
∎ Identify and locate resources and services from internal and external (CiC, Govt, NGOs) sources for the participants.
∎ Training & capacity building:
∎ Trained targeted community groups on technical skills, project management, resilience, and awareness training.
∎ Community communication, mobilization, and beneficiary selection and validation.
∎ Organize and facilitate training, group meetings & workshops.
∎ Facilitate skill development trainings as co-facilitator.
∎ Plan and record the practicalities of inputs/ asset transfers.
∎ Compliance:
∎ Maintain the Code of Conduct and all other policies and procedures of the organization.
∎ Ensure integrity policy of both donor and Cordaid.
∎ Follow and ensure the safety security policy Monitoring & reporting.
∎ The duties and responsibilities may change as per project requirements.
∎ Prepare and submit plan, report weekly/ monthly as required.
∎ Timely reporting as per the donor and organizational requirements.
∎ Maintain risk register and follow the feedback of the donor as well as Cordaid Dhaka office.
∎ Problem identification in the field and help the group to solve the problems.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the Assistant Officer-Implementation.
