Job Context:
∎ Breaking the Silence (BTS) is a non-profit, voluntary organization registered with the Department of Social Services (Registration No. 05037, Date: 17 October 2000) and NGOAB (Registration No. 1642, Date: 20 May 2001). The organization works to establish child rights, prevent child abuse and child sexual abuse, prevent child marriage, accelerate child-friendly good governance, improve the quality of education at the primary and pre-primary level, prevent violence against women, empowering children and women. The organization is implementing a project named `Strengthen Children Of RMG worker`s Protection and Education rights (SCOPE)` at Mirpur under Dhaka North City Corporation and Savar Upazilla, Dhaka District. The project will be implemented by BTS with the support of `Save the Children` and financed by MANGO. BTS is going to recruit the `Community Mobilizer for the mentioned project and the position`s desk office will be at Mirpur and Savar.

∎ Tenure of Services Contract:
∎ 3 (Three) months probation period. After successful completion of the probation period, based on the performance of the staff and recommendation from the supervisor, the post may be continued till the project`s lifetime.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish an effective relationship with the garment's owners, service providers, duty bearers, local government, and other actors to identify the vulnerable children in the communities
∎ Keep regular communication with the children and their parents
∎ Arrange periodical meetings with the garment's owner, service providers, duty bearers, local government, and other actors to share the findings of gaps in services available for the children and seek needful to mitigate those.
∎ Prepare awareness materials and share those accordingly.
∎ Support the children in the development and implementation of project interventions in participatory way.
∎ Assist in the delivery of timely reports on of field interventions.
∎ Participate in data collection, mapping exercises and organize interviews and group discussions.
∎ Work with the safeguarding focal point to assess risks and local mitigation
∎ Assist to manage case management of children and families, regarding protection of children from violence, harmful labor etc.
∎ Formation and facilitate monthly child group session.
∎ Facilitate monthly Life skills for success session at child group.
∎ Organize STEM sessions at child group and school level.
∎ Maintain regular coordination with STEM facilitator,
∎ Mobilize children to access the facilities and services of child friendly space.
∎ Refer children at risk of violence and other child protection concerns to case management team for support.
∎ Assist in preparing reports in the field.
∎ Make need assessment of the beneficiary for capacity development
∎ Arrange/ recommend training for the program participants, duty bearers, service providers, other actors etc.
∎ Act to implement child safeguarding policy of SCI and Phulki for everyone concerned at every meeting or gathering.
∎ Make necessary field visits to assess the quality of the action of the project and keep notes of the findings
∎ Undertake any other duties that may be determined by the supervisor.
∎ Others: Be able and willing to respond to natural disasters or emergency situations, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor and /or Senior Management of BTS.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ 3-5 Years practical experience in the relevant field.

Salary:
∎ Gross: Taka 24,800/

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 2 days weekend
∎ Office time, Annual Leave, Increment & other facilities will be applicable as per 'Recruitment and Human Resource Management Policy' of Breaking the Silence and the facilities will be applicable also based on available resources in the project budget.
