Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in psychology, gender Studies, Public health or any other relevant subjects.
Job Context:
∎ Project Name: More Women Play a Greater Role and are Better Served by Humanitarian Response and Recovery Efforts, Funded UN Women
∎ Location of posting : Multi-Purpose Women`s Center, Ukhiya, Cox`sbazar
∎ Duration of Contract : Up to July 31, 2019
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key responsibilities include (not limited to):
∎ Conduct awareness raising sessions through outreach.
∎ Keep record of number of awareness sessions and participants.
∎ Functioning the CWG and keep record of meetings and activities.
∎ Visit door to door to mobilize program participants and provide information.
∎ Liaise CiC and site management and ensures support from their end.
∎ Mobilize men, adolescent boys and religious leaders through sensitization and regular
∎ meetings and follow-ups.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with communities, including local leaders, community-
∎ based groups and other stakeholders
∎ Assist in developing messages on the types of services available as well as awareness
∎ issues, where these services are available, how communities can support survivors to
∎ access services, and the consequences of GBV and the benefits of seeking care and
∎ support
∎ Identify concerns related to and support adherence to GBV referral protocols and GBV
∎ guiding principles, and bring these concerns to the Senior Response Officer.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in community outreach, sensitization or mobilization would be an advantage.
∎ Strong communication and facilitation skills.
∎ Clear understanding of and interest in the well-being of women and girls and supporting their healing after the experience of violence.
∎ Ability to keep record and write sample and basic reports of activities would be an added advantage.
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect in WFS at all time is essential.
Salary: Tk. 32000 (Monthly)
