Job Context:
∎ Disabled Child Foundation (DCF) is a non-Government organization (NGO) in Bangladesh led by persons with disabilities, which is an independent and non-profitable and non-political voluntary organization was established in June 27, 2005. The organization is also well-recognized as a Disabled People Organization (DPO) for active participation, leadership and professional engagement of persons with disabilities. Since its inception, Disabled Child Foundation has been working for the children and persons with disabilities in the country with the faith in the morals of working for the poor and disadvantaged people. It is going to implementation Strengthening people centered inclusive disaster risk management in Khulna of Bangladesh (DIDRM)project in Dacope and Koyra Upazila in Khulna District.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility of Community Facilitator (JD of DCF CF)
∎ Field facilitator will responsible for implementation of Union, Word level activities and reportable to Disability Inclusion Officer.
∎ Identify potential members for Ward and Union Disaster Management Committee.
∎ Keep close relationship with the community people as well as both Ward and Union Disaster Management Committee.
∎ Formation of Self-help group (SHGs) for Persons with Disabilities and conduct monthly at structured Self-help group (SHGs)
∎ Support to Caritas Bangladesh Community Facilitator in their field activities.
∎ Ensure participation of person with disabilities at project implementation process and activities.
∎ To engaged with local level mobilization of persons with disabilities through development of Self-help groups.
∎ Provide and organize training, community session for development of IGA and disability inclusive, gender responsive Early Warning Systems (EWS) .
∎ Facilitate to keep record and support on graduation works
∎ Communicate with different service providers in input-output actors and build linkage with existing Networking Forums (NF) with stakeholders (GO, NGOs, private organizations, local elites, influential persons, leaders, etc.) and conduct tri-monthly meetings of the NF at union level
∎ involved in facilitation of cluster meetings, awareness sessions, formation of self-help groups, activation and regular meetings of DMCs, CRA process and preparation RRAPs etc
∎ Collect project relevant data from community to help project planning and decision making for smooth implementation of Project.
∎ Liaison with the union level NGOs, GoB & private sector and other projects stakeholders.
∎ Assist Disability Inclusion Officer to prepare monthly, quarterly, annual report on progress and plan for the next month

Salary: Tk. 12000 (Monthly)
