Education:

Position Summary:
Communications & Outreach Officer will be responsible for managing JAAGO Foundation’s social media platforms and ensuring effective day-to-day communication with donors, sponsors, volunteers, partners, and the general public. The role focuses on online community management, audience engagement, and timely response across social media, email, and phone channels in alignment with JAAGO Foundation’s mission and values.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor JAAGO Foundation’s official social media pages and affiliated platforms.
Respond promptly and professionally to messages, comments, and queries on social media.
Coordinate and schedule social media content with the digital team as required.
Monitor audience engagement and feedback to improve social media outreach and communication strategies.
Manage official email communication and respond to enquiries related to partnerships, volunteering, internships, and sponsorship.
Respond to phone enquiries, provide accurate programme information, and redirect calls to relevant departments when necessary.
Safeguarding:
Uphold and promote the organization’s safeguarding policies to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all children, young people, and vulnerable adults engaged in our activities.
Immediately report any concerns, suspicions, or incidents of safeguarding breaches in line with the organization’s reporting procedures.
Maintain professional boundaries and conduct that fosters a safe and respectful environment for all beneficiaries, colleagues, and stakeholders.
