Good practical knowledge of pastry and bakery production.

Knowledge of inventory, stock usage, and wastage control.

Ability to guide and train Commis-3 staff.

Friendly, cooperative, and team-oriented personality.

Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.

Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure.

Navana Foods operates in the food industry and owns the Gloria Jean’s Coffees franchise in Bangladesh, along with its premium bakery brand, La Tarte Bakery & Pastry.

La Tarte is looking for a passionate Commis-2 – Pastry to support its pastry production team and maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

• Prepare cakes, pastries, desserts, and other pastry items according to standard recipes.

• Assist senior chefs in daily production planning and execution.

• Ensure consistency in product taste, quality, portion, and presentation.

• Perform basic cake decoration, finishing, and plating.

• Maintain proper ingredient measurement and portion control.

• Follow hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards.

• Monitor ingredient usage and report stock shortages.

• Support packing, storage, and dispatch of products to outlets.

• Guide and assist Commis-3 team members in daily tasks.

• Maintain cleanliness of the factory production area and workstations.
