  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in a Commercial department, preferably in 100% export-oriented RMG/Bag/Leather/Accessories industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Export & Import procedures, UCP 600, Incoterms, customs rules, and international trade practices.
  • Experience in handling Export L/C, BTB L/C, telegraphic transfers (TT), document negotiation, and export incentives.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written & spoken) for correspondence with buyers and banks.
  • Proven ability to handle Commercial Team Management and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP software, and online banking platforms.


Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead our commercial department and oversee export-import operations of a 100% export-oriented bag manufacturing company. The position requires strong expertise in L/C management, customs, banking, export incentives, and compliance with international trade practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all commercial activities including Export & Import documentation, L/C opening, amendment, realization, and negotiation.

  • Manage Banking, Customs, EPB, BGMEA, and C&F agent related tasks to ensure smooth export-import operations.

  • Supervise and monitor Back-to-Back L/C, Master L/C, Sales Contract, BTB payments, and foreign remittance follow-up.

  • Ensure timely shipment and document submission to buyers/banks.

  • Handle incentive, bonded warehouse, VAT, AIT, and duty drawback related activities.

  • Liaise with foreign buyers, suppliers, banks, and regulatory authorities to resolve commercial issues.

  • Monitor and train junior commercial staff for effective execution of commercial activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, banking rules, and local laws.

  • Provide regular reporting to top management on commercial performance, risks, and improvements.
