Experience:
Minimum Bachelor of Physiotherapy with one-year internship from any Govt. approved university/ institution.
Experience Requirements:
Preferably 1-year clinical experience in any recognized organization or hospital.
Additional Requirements:

Outstanding proficiency in both written and spoken English,
Good command in computer (i.e., MS-Office),
Excellent interpersonal communication skill,
Excellent presentation skill.

Job Context: The Trust for Injured Workers’ Medical Care Including Rana Plaza Workers (TIWMC) is established jointly by the Government of Bangladesh, Labour unions and non-Government organizations with the support of International Labour Organization (ILO), Dhaka for the provision of long-term medical care to the Rana Plaza and Tazreen injured workers in accordance with the ILO convention 121 and the applicable laws of Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance to the termed Vision and Mission statements, goals, objectives, and values of the Trust.
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients to determine their needs Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, manual therapy, and electrotherapy. Educate patients and their families about the treatment plans and preventive measures.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, Clinical Psychologist, to provide a coordinated plan of care for patients.
Appropriate professional assessment, care, and attention is given to all patients. To maintain internationally recognized standards of Physiotherapy practice. Maintain patient records, documenting therapy sessions and progress.
To determine the patients’ understanding of treatment proposals to ensure valid patient consent. To understand and work within a legal framework with patients who lack the capacity to consent to treatment.
Referring patients to other members of the medical community such as doctors, psychologist, occupational therapist as required.
Planning and implementing community physiotherapy/community-based programs.
Keeping patient records up-to-date and securely stored.
Developing rapport with clients to build a relationship of trust and mutual respect.
Creating a safe and relaxed environment where clients feel comfortable.
In coordination with Trust Coordinator and concerned Medical Officer of the trust maintain close coordination with government and non-government health service providers and provide technical support to the colleagues and their activities.
Take part in coordination meetings, workshops, training events and conferences as required.
Undertaking any other lawful responsibilities as assigned by the office/supervisor.
