Education - Bachelor’s degree in microbiology

Key Responsibilities

• Contamination Control: Monitor, test, and maintain aseptic environments (cleanrooms) and utility systems (water, air).

• Testing and Analysis: Conduct raw material, in-process, and finished product testing, including sterility testing, endotoxin testing, and microbial limits testing.

• Microbial Identification: Isolate, culture, and identify bacteria, fungi, and viruses.

• Method Validation: Develop and validate microbiological techniques, such as growth promotion tests, to ensure methods are robust.

• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed, compliant laboratory records (GDP - Good Documentation Practices) and follow GMP guidelines.

• Investigations: Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for out-of-specification (OOS) results
