  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Computer literacy and experience with laboratory information systems will be an added advantage.

Bank Asia Medical Hospital is inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated candidates for the position of Laboratory In-Charge.

Department: Laboratory

Job Description

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the laboratory.

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable laboratory testing and reporting.

  • Monitor laboratory quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) programs.

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and laboratory standards.

  • Supervise laboratory technologists, technicians and support staff.

  • Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower coverage.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of laboratory reagents, consumables and equipment to ensure uninterrupted laboratory services.

  • Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.

  • Review and verify laboratory reports before release when required.

  • Implement infection prevention, infection control and biosafety protocols within the laboratory.

  • Conduct regular audits and maintain all laboratory records and documentation.

  • Coordinate with consultants, clinicians, and hospital management regarding laboratory services and performance.

  • Provide training and performance evaluation for laboratory staff.
