Education:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience operating [X-ray / CT / MRI] equipment in a hospital or diagnostic center setting. (Fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with PACS/RIS software and modern digital radiography systems.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled, safety-focused, and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our Imaging Department. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography) to produce high-quality diagnostic images, assisting physicians in accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Preparation:

  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explaining the process clearly to ease anxiety.

  • Review patient clinical history and physician orders to ensure correct imaging protocols.

  • Practice strict radiation safety, utilizing protective equipment and applying ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.

Clinical & Technical Operations:

  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment (e.g., X-Ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy) to produce clear, precise images.

  • Position patients accurately to capture required anatomical views while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

  • Evaluate image quality and re-take or adjust protocols as necessary.

Documentation & Maintenance:

  • Maintain accurate patient records and upload scans to the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) / RIS system.

  • Perform routine equipment quality control checks and report malfunctions immediately.

  • Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and follow standard hospital infection control protocols.
