Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

City Hospital Ltd. is looking for competent and dedicated Medical Officers (MO) for its Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, and Burn & Plastic Surgery departments. The selected candidates will be responsible for indoor patient management, assisting consultants, attending emergency cases, maintaining proper clinical documentation, and ensuring safe and quality patient care according to hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to admitted patients under the supervision of consultants.

  • Perform admission assessments, clinical examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and daily patient management.

  • Conduct ward rounds independently and jointly with consultants.

  • Monitor patients' clinical progress and modify treatment plans as advised.

  • Attend emergency calls and manage critically ill patients until senior support is available.

  • Interpret laboratory investigations, radiological findings, ECGs, and other diagnostic reports.

  • Prepare discharge summaries, death summaries, referral notes, and medical certificates.

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records.
