Job Context:
∎ The Trust for Injured Workers` Medical Care Including Rana Plaza Workers (the "TIWMC") is established jointly by the Government of Bangladesh, Labour unions and non-Government organizations with the support of International Labour Organization (ILO), Dhaka for the provision of long term medical care to the Rana Plaza and Tazreen injured workers in accordance with the ILO convention 121 and the applicable laws of Bangladesh.
∎ Job Nature: Part-time (weekly 03 days and 03 months contractual and possibility of extension)
∎ Job Location: TIWMC-Savar, Dhaka
∎ Responsible to: Trust Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Participate in the planning, organization and coordination of Mental Health activities, in close collaboration with the medical team members, in order to ensure an efficient and effective implementation of the resources needed while maintaining high levels of quality in Mental Health.
∎ Supervise the daily mental health activities and patient support and standards in order to provide the most appropriate support for clients with psycho social needs.
∎ Oversee the administrative processes associated with psychosocial functioning.
∎ When needed, give psychological support to patients to improve mental health conditions of patients and enhance their functionality.
∎ Ensure the patient's related information is kept confidential
∎ Carrying out evaluation of mental health needs of patients and establishing a diagnosis and a plan of treatment. Informing the patient and his/her relatives , with the patient's consent, about the possible consequences of the illness and the drug treatment to follow and referring patients to other health professionals whenever necessary, in order to provide the most appropriate treatment and improve the patient's condition.
∎ Providing psychological support and psychotherapy sessions (individual, family, group) to patients' protocols in order to improve their mental health conditions.
∎ Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the office.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Preferably 01 year clinical experience in any recognized institute or hospital.
∎ Outstanding proficiency in both written and spoken English,
∎ Good command in computer (i.e., MS-Office) is a must,
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication skill,
∎ Excellent presentation skill
Salary:
∎ BDT 23,600 (Twenty three thousand & six hundred) including all benefits.
