Job Context

The Client Relationship Officer (CRO) is responsible for maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and business growth. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to understand client needs. The CRO acts as the primary contact between the company and its clients, ensuring smooth service delivery and strengthening client loyalty.

Job Responsibilities

Client Management & Communication

  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and continued engagement.
  • Build and strengthen professional relationships through timely follow-ups and personalized support.
  • Respond to client inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure clients receive accurate information about company services or products.

Service Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, accounts, support) to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Follow up on client service issues until fully resolved.
  • Monitor ongoing projects/services and update clients accordingly.

Business Development & Retention

  • Identify potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities based on client needs.
  • Support the sales team in client meetings and proposals when required.
  • Work to achieve client retention targets and reduce churn rate.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain updated client records, communication logs, and service reports.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on client interactions, issues, and feedback.
  • Analyze client feedback to recommend improvements to management.

Relationship Building & Professionalism

  • Represent the company positively to all clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, communication etiquette, and customer service standards.
  • Identify and escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary.
