Responsibilities & Context:
Job Details
We are seeking a talented and creative Cinematographer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting visually compelling stories through camera work, lighting, and shot composition during our commercial, corporate, and creative video productions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain professional video cameras, lenses, lighting, and other film equipment.
Collaborate with the Director and Production team to understand the visual goals of each project.
Plan, scout, and set up camera angles, framing, and lighting setups for indoor and outdoor shoots.
Direct camera crew and lighting technicians on set.
Ensure proper exposure, focus, and color balance during shoots.
Stay updated with current trends in cinematography and apply them creatively to projects.
Capture B-roll, interview footage, product shots, and dynamic storytelling visuals.
Ensure footage quality meets post-production standards.
Work on tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in cinematography or similar role.
Proficiency with DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras (Blackmagic/RED/Canon/Sony preferred).
Strong understanding of lighting, camera angles, and framing.
Familiarity with gimbals, sliders, drones, and video production tools.
A strong showreel/portfolio demonstrating past work is required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and late nights if needed.
A creative mindset, attention to detail, and a strong team player.
