∎ Proven expertise in various Chinese regional cuisines (Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, etc.)
∎ Strong understanding of Chinese cooking techniques (stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, etc.)
∎ Excellent knife skills and knowledge of traditional Chinese knife work
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
∎ Good team work and communication skills
∎ Food safety certification required
∎ Experience in high-volume restaurants or hotels
∎ Knowledge of dim sum preparation and traditional Chinese banquets
∎ Ability to create fusion dishes that blend Chinese flavors with international tastes
∎ Strong understanding of seasonal ingredients and sustainable practices
∎ Formal culinary education with emphasis on Chinese cuisine
∎ Proficiency in both traditional and modern Chinese culinary techniques
