Job Context

Kasundi Restaurant is looking for a skilled and experienced Chinese Chef to join our culinary team in Cox’s Bazar. The ideal candidate must be an expert in authentic Chinese cuisine, able to prepare a wide range of dishes with consistency, creativity, and high standards of hygiene.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes (Szechuan, Cantonese, Hunan, etc.) with excellent taste and presentation.

  • Develop and design Chinese menu items, including specials, based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.

  • Ensure consistency of taste, portion, and quality in all dishes served.

  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen.

  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in Chinese cooking techniques.

  • Monitor inventory, manage stock, and ensure cost-effective use of ingredients.

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and F&B Manager to maintain high service standards.

  • Maintain awareness of food trends and introduce innovative Chinese recipes.
