Education:
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Child Development, Child Development and Social Relationship (CDSR), Educational Psychology, or a related field from a recognized university.
Additional training or certification in child development, special education, behavioral therapy, or developmental assessment will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct developmental screenings and assessments to identify children's cognitive, emotional, social, behavioral, communication, and adaptive functioning needs.
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings, family goals, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions to support children's developmental, social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
Monitor and document children's progress, maintain accurate clinical records, and prepare assessment and progress reports.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated support for each child.
Educate and guide parents and caregivers on strategies to reinforce developmental goals at home and in community settings.
Design and facilitate activities that promote communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and daily living skills.
Identify developmental delays, behavioral challenges, learning difficulties, and social-emotional concerns, and recommend appropriate interventions.
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards, child safeguarding policies, and organizational procedures.
Support inclusive education and advocate for the developmental and psychosocial well-being of children.
Assist in developing therapy resources, assessment tools, and parent training materials as needed.
Build positive therapeutic relationships with children and families while maintaining a safe, supportive, and child-friendly environment.
Contribute to awareness programs, workshops, and community outreach initiatives related to child development and mental health.
Perform other duties assigned by the Clinical Supervisor or Management in support of Beyond Horizon's mission and services.
