Job Context:
∎ ASSURE GROUP is opening a new sector of Hospitality service in the field of Tourism. To make the service all-inclusive and premium, the group is looking for a Chief Steward for its Hotel/Resorts at Cox’s Bazar & Manikganj.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide functional assistance and direction and be responsible for the smooth running of the whole stewarding operation
∎ Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operation, and costs
∎ Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of product and services
∎ Check more specifically the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories
∎ Coordinate with the Stewarding Manager in establishing minimum and maximum operating par stocks and supplies and approve storeroom requisition
∎ Co-ordinate with the Executive Chef and Outlet Manager to check their requirements for the day and the next day
∎ Maintain health inspection record, attendance record, and file on casual employees
∎ Take all necessary actions to reduce the loss of silverware/flatware
∎ Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
∎ Comply with the hotel environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3-4 Years in the same position in a reputable Hotel/Resort
∎ The ideal candidate will be a friendly, respectful individual with good cross-cultural sensitivity and a concern for quality and an eye for details. You demonstrate initiatives at all times and lead and support your subordinates by example and with a hands-on approach. You will work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with a multi-cultural team while possessing the following additional competencies:
