Responsibilities & Context:

About the Company

We are launching a foreign-branded restaurant chain in Bangladesh under a franchise model, with plans for rapid expansion. To ensure operational excellence, brand compliance, and sustainable growth, we are seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead day-to-day operations and business execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all restaurant operations in line with foreign franchise standards and SOPs

Ensure brand compliance, quality control, food safety, and customer experience excellence

Develop and execute operational strategies, policies, and performance benchmarks

Manage outlet opening, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation

Coordinate with the franchise principal on audits, reporting, and operational updates

Control operational costs, improve efficiency, and ensure profitability

Oversee supply chain, vendor management, and inventory systems

Implement MIS, sales reporting, and KPI-driven performance management

Handle crisis management, compliance, and operational risk mitigation

Support expansion planning and new outlet rollouts

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field

MBA or international hospitality certification preferred

8–12 years of experience in restaurant / QSR / hospitality operations

Minimum 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (COO, Operations Director, GM Operations)

Proven experience working with international restaurant brands or franchises

Strong understanding of SOP-driven operations and multi-outlet management

Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage fast-paced expansion
