Key Purpose of the Role
We’re looking for a visionary leader for Acote Limited who will be responsible to drive business growth in Korea, Native Korean speaker with 10+ years of experience in IT, design, green tech or training sectors preferred. The CBO will lead, develop and oversee the organization’s business functions — including business strategy, product development, market expansion, sales & distribution, and key client relationships — in alignment with the company’s long-term vision and regulatory framework.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Formulate and execute the business growth strategy for the organisation, identifying new markets, segments and products.
Oversee business portfolios such as (depending on the nature of the organisation) corporate business, retail business, SME/agri business, supply chain financing, syndicated & structured finance, cash management, cards business, etc.
Ensure the business unit meets its annual targets for volume, revenue, profit, and market share.
Provide insight and intelligence into market access and changes in the macro- and micro- environment, including competitor moves, regulatory shifts, customer behaviour.
Lead, mentor and develop a high‐performance business team, setting KPIs and incentives, ensuring compliance and controls.
Collaborate with other functions (risk, compliance, operations, IT, finance) to ensure integrated implementation of strategy, products and services.
Represent the company in external forums, build strategic partnerships, and manage key stakeholder relationships.
Monitor evolving business-/product risks, propose mitigation, and maintain high standards of governance and regulatory compliance.
