Job Responsibilities:
∎ Having experience in ETP, WTP, Chemical industry and in house lab test
∎ Should conduct all allotted tests as per methods and SOP.
∎ Prepare initial test report and verify accuracy of test results.
∎ Ensure all assigned jobs are completed within stipulated timeline.
∎ Keep all necessary records of the tests conducted.
∎ Make Sure that test areas are always clean and maintain impeccable housekeeping all around.
∎ Analyzes samples of streams, raw and treated wastewater, sludge, and other byproducts of wastewater treatment process to determine efficiency of plant processes and to ensure that plant effluent meets water pollution control requirements, using standard laboratory equipment: Conducts tests for settle able solids, suspended solids, total solids, volatile solids, volatile acids, alkalinity, pH, dissolved oxygen demand, turbidity, and other substances.
∎ Initiates changes in laboratory procedures and equipment in order to increase efficiency of laboratory.
∎ Directs laboratory personnel in prescribed laboratory techniques and performance of routine tests
∎ Tends pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum filters, and other equipment used to decontaminate wastewater by settling, aeration, and sludge digestion: Removes obstructions, such as coarse materials from bar-screens, to accelerate influent through initial screening process.
∎ Adjusts pipe valves to regulate flow velocity through settling tanks to separate sludge by sedimentation.
∎ Turns air and steam valves to aerate effluent, and to control temperature in sludge digestion tanks.
∎ Observes temperature gauges to determine lubrication of equipment.
∎ Reads charts, flow meters, and gauges to detect equipment malfunctions.
∎ Collects samples, makes process reports, and performs minor repairs on equipment as directed by WASTEWATER-TREATMENT-PLANT OPERATOR.
∎ May be designated according to station assignments as Activated-Sludge Attendant; Grit Station Attendant; Pump-And-Blower Attendant; Sludge-Control Attendant; Sludge-Filtration Attendant.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have knowledge about Importance of Audit and SRM
∎ Experience of work with BEPI, H&M, ALDI will get preference
∎ Basic Computer skills needed.
