Experience:
1. Milk and Product Testing
Analyze raw milk, pasteurized milk, and finished dairy products for fat, SNF (solids-not-fat), protein, acidity, adulteration, and microbial quality.
Ensure products meet BIS/FSSAI or other regulatory standards.
2. Quality Control and Assurance
Monitor production processes to maintain consistent quality in milk, butter, ghee, yogurt, and other dairy products. Conduct daily checks on temperature, pH, and hygiene parameters at various stages of processing.
3. Chemical and Microbiological Analysis
Perform routine chemical tests (fat, moisture, protein, ash, etc.) and coordinate microbiological testing for spoilage and contamination.
4. Maintain Laboratory Equipment and Records
Calibrate and maintain lab instruments (lactometer, Gerber centrifuge, pH meter, spectrophotometer, etc.).
Maintain accurate test records, logbooks, and Certificates of Analysis (COA).
5. Raw Material and Water Testing
Test incoming raw milk, water, cleaning chemicals, and packaging materials for quality compliance.
6. Support Production and Hygiene Teams
Work closely with production staff to identify and correct quality deviations.
Supervise CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures and ensure hygiene standards are followed.
7. Compliance and Documentation
Prepare reports for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards.
8. Research and Development (Optional)
Assist in developing new dairy products and improving formulations for shelf life and sensory quality.
9. Safety and Waste Management
Handle chemicals safely and ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste as per environmental guidelines.
