Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

The Centre Manager ensures the effective operation of the TVET center, achieving enrollment targets, maintaining training quality, supporting student job placements, preparing demand-based reports, coordinating with donors and stakeholders, and leading accreditation and assessment processes in line with NSDA standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor staff, including Sr. Instructors, Instructors, and Associate Officers, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.

  • Set and achieve institutional goals by aligning TVET programs with industry needs and ensuring enrollment and placement targets are met.

  • Oversee center operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, facility management, and financial compliance with BRAC policies.

  • Ensure high-quality training and learner outcomes by maintaining national standards, NSDA accreditation, and competency-based assessments.

  • Support student development and placement through enrollment guidance, career counseling, training delivery, and employer partnerships.

  • Engage with stakeholders by coordinating with donors, government agencies, and industry partners to strengthen program impact.

  • Promote inclusion and organizational values by implementing safeguarding policies, gender sensitization, and ensuring accountability and transparency.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Educational Qualifications:

Diploma in Engineering/Bachelor’s in any discipline with certification and experience in TVET Training

Experience Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience for candidates with a graduation degree, or 7 years for those with a Diploma in Engineering. Management experience in TVET-related projects will be an added advantage.
